Information

Welcome home.

We are thrilled to offer the Carriage House Birth Ongoing Doula Mentorship, led by CHB co-founders and seasoned birth workers, Domino Kirke-Badgley and Lindsey Bliss.Birth work was never meant to be done alone. Whether you’re newly trained, actively supporting clients, growing a doula business, navigating challenging cases, or simply seeking connection with fellow birth workers, this mentorship offers a place to gather, learn, and grow within the Carriage House Birth community.

Unlike a traditional course with a fixed beginning and end, this mentorship is designed as an ongoing space for professional development, peer support, and meaningful conversation. Through bi-weekly virtual gatherings, participants can deepen their skills, receive guidance from experienced mentors, discuss real-world challenges, and remain connected to a vibrant network of birth workers for as long as the program continues.

Sessions may include case consultation, community doula work, business development, sustainability in birth work, advocacy, birth and postpartum topics, guest speakers, resource sharing, and open Q&A discussions shaped by the needs of the group.

Registration Includes:• Access to all scheduled mentorship meetings while the program remains active• Continued membership in our active WhatsApp community for connection, collaboration, and resource sharing• Opportunities for case consultation and professional support• Guest presentations from experienced birth workers and allied professionals• Ongoing connection to the collective wisdom, experience, and network of the Carriage House Birth community

For those that live in the tristate area there will also be opportunities to further build relationships through IRL events around the city. And for those that join us from afar we will share virtual community building events.

Our mentorship is designed to evolve alongside the needs of its members. Rather than following a rigid curriculum, we create space for authentic discussion, mentorship, problem-solving, and community building as the realities of birth work unfold.

CHB offers a sliding scale of $350 - $650 to attend our mentorship.
Community Rate: $350Sustaining Rate: $500Pay-It-Forward Rate: $650

Testimonials

"I was unsure of what to expect from the CHB mentorship since it was my first time participating in one of their offerings and I could not have been more pleased with my experience. Not only are Lindsey and Domino both profoundly generous and authentic as mentors, but the other doulas in the cohort really made the experience powerful. The vulnerability and candor within the group and ability to create genuine discussions was so impressive and I would suggest this mentorship to any doula looking for a community to really enrich their work and knowledge. Thank you for building such a great space!" - Mariza Rodriguez
"As a new doula, I joined this mentorship with the idea of getting more tips, tricks and information on how to run my doula business. Instead I left with a greater sense of empowerment and encouragement that I deserve to be doing this type of work. Lindsay and Domino were welcoming and caring, while also being real about this type of work and what it means to be a doula. The 12 weeks go by quickly and I am sorry that it ended when it did!" - Lisa Galindo

“This Mentorship and community have been invaluable as I progress through my Birth Doula training. Last week, I supported my first birth as a primary doula and I am so grateful to be part of such a helpful, kind and resourceful network.” - Dara Hart
