A signature CHB workshop, it offers tools to support the creation of realistic parenting goals and how to meet the tangible needs of your newborn in their first weeks. Aside from essential newborn care, we will also discuss what to expect with newborn development, feeding and sleep patterns, ideal nursery set-up, necessary baby gear and more.

Nineteen years ago, I supported my best friend through the birth of her first child, a transformative experience that inspired me to become a doula. Today, I am a certified Birth and Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator, Integrated Lactation Specialist, and Prenatal Nutrition Counselor. I am also trained in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and hold pediatric and adult CPR/AED/First Aid certification.

With a background in the arts, movement, and wellness, including years as a personal and prenatal trainer, I bring warmth, humor, and emotional intelligence to the families I support. My teaching style is grounded in compassion and authenticity, with the goal of helping parents feel informed, confident, and prepared for birth and beyond.

I live in Harlem with my husband. We have two daughters and a grandchild. In my free time, I enjoy singing, biking, baking, and spending time in nature with as many plants and flowers around me as possible.
