At Carriage House Birth, we believe that birthing the way you want to is a right. As we celebrate World Doula Week, we reflect on the deep purpose of this work, the privilege of supporting birthing people, educating doulas, and fostering a community that ensures every birth experience is met with respect, knowledge, and care.
Doulas have long been a quiet yet essential presence in birth spaces, holding hands, steadying breaths, and creating environments where birthing people feel seen, heard, and supported. Birth is sacred, and as birthworkers, we are honored to bear witness to these profound moments.
Expanding Our Commitment
This World Doula Week, we are thrilled to highlight our upcoming doula trainings, mentorship programs, and childbirth educator teacher training all designed to equip birthworkers with the tools, confidence, and community needed to thrive.
⭐ Doula Trainings – Our comprehensive trainings in partnership with Woven Bodies & Dorcas Davis Consulting prepare birthworkers with evidence-based education, hands-on skills, and community-driven learning.
⭐ CHB Mentorship Program – A space for doulas to deepen their practice, gain guidance, and find community in this work.
⭐ Childbirth Educator Teacher Training – Helping educators develop the skills to confidently guide families with essential knowledge for birth and postpartum.
⭐ Partnership with Tribeca Pediatrics in Flatbush, Brooklyn & Glendale, Queens – Bringing expert-led childbirth education classes to families.
⭐ Collaboration with Play Well in Gowanus, Brooklyn – Creating a space for holistic pregnancy education.
